Sheriff Gautreaux Presents LCLE Medals of Honor

EBR Sheriff Sid Gautreaux was honored and humbled to present medals to each of the families at Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement's 22nd Medal of Honor Ceremony on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

LCLE has presented 142 Medals of Honor since the programs inception in 1997 to honor law enforcement officers throughout Louisiana who have made the supreme sacrifice.

In recognition of their ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, the State of Louisiana remembers the following heroes: - Detective Stephen Christopher Arnold of Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office - Patrolman Austin Spencer Bush of Houma Police Departmentt - Officer William Earl Collins, Jr. of Doyline Police Department - Officer Trey Copeland of Cotton Valley Police Department - Sergeant Charles F. Dotson of Baton Rouge Police Department - Master Trooper Adam Gaubert of Louisiana State Police - Officer Randy James Guidry of Youngsville Police Department - Reserve Deputy Constable Martinus Mitchum of 2nd City Court New Orleans Constable's Office - Sergeant Theresa Elizabeth Simon of Slidell Police Department - K-9 Ivar of Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office
